News Reader Tejaswini Suicide case solved, accused arresed

Vijayawada, June 20: The mystery of news reader Tejaswini's suicide case has been resolved after found a suicide note here on Tuesday.

The Kankipadu police on Tuesday altered the suicide case of M. Tejaswini, from a suspicious death to sections 498 A and 306 IPC, and arrested her husband M. Pavan Kumar.

Tejaswini, a former newsreader in a local channel, was found hanging at her residence at MBMR Colony on Monday.

In the suicide note, the woman alleged that her husband Pavan Kumar had developed an extramarital relationship and did not mend ways despite repeated warnings.

She held Pavan Kumar and his family members responsible for her death.

Police produced her husband in a court which remanded him in judicial custody.
