Brutal Incident: Nizamabad MPP arrested for kicking woman

Nizamabad, June 18: In a brutal incident, a local elected people's representative kicked a woman in connection with a land dispute. The incident occurred in Nizamabad's Indalvai.

Dharpally Mandal Parishad President Immadi Gopi kicked a woman on her chest when she asked him to vacate her house, which he had sold to her at Indalwai Mandal headquarters of the district almost a year ago.



MPP Gopi has been arrested by the Nizamabad Police after this raking incident here on Monday.

According to victim Rajavva, a native of Gowraram, a resident of Gouraram village in Dharpally mandal, purchased the MPP Gopi’s house and 1,125 sq yards of land situated at Indalwai village for Rs 33,72,000 some 11 months ago. Rajavva transferred the total amount through her bank account to the MPP's account and he registered the house and land in the name of Rajavva.

Since the last 11 months, Gopi failed to vacate the house and sought more time and came up with a fresh condition that she pay him a total of Rs 50 lakh to vacate, according to Rajavva.

An incensed Rajavva hit MPP Gopi with her chappal after which the MPP kicked Rajavva on her chest.

The woman fell down on the ground. Later, the relatives of the woman attacked the MPP. The video of the MPP kicking the woman has gone viral.
