Nushrat Bharucha faces terrible incident

Mumbai, June 14: Actress Nushrat Bharucha recently witnessed a terrible incident at an event.The affable actress, who was attending an event in Pune, was in for a rude shock when a fan, who had approached her for a photograph, wrapped his arm around her waist.

While Nushrat was too shocked to react, one of her team members promptly jumped to her rescue, shouting at the man and asking him to maintain a distance.

The celebs these days are quite chilled out about giving selfies to the fans as it directly connects them to their fanbase. However, this trend is taken as a disadvantage by some perverts and one such incident just happened with Nushrat, reports media.

The actress says, "I usually leave the security arrangement to the event organisers. Earlier too, I have had people approach me for selfies and I happily oblige. However, the recent incident has left me shaken. A guy came up to me for a picture and I don't know if it was intentional, but he put his hand around my waist and came closer. I froze and couldn't react. Fortunately, my make-up artiste intervened promptly. I don’t want people to misunderstand my friendly nature."
