Mumbai, June 13: Here is the shocking news to cine industry, Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli on Tuesday arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, a senior police official said here on Tuesday

According to the reports, The arrest by Santacruz police came on a complaint filed on June 4 by Kohli's girlfriend, a 35-year-old model, the official said.

Kohli is accused of assaulting his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa at their residence in Santacruz.

Based on her statement, Kohli was booked under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and other relevant sections of the IPC.

The duo had an argument over financial issues at their residence on June 3 and during the altercation, he allegedly pushed the woman and she fell from the stairs, according to the complaint.
