Petrol, Diesel prices updates

New Delhi, June 07: The Retail prices of petrol fell for the ninth straight day here on Thursday. According to reports on Indian Oil Corporation website, prices of petrol were cut by 9 paise per liter, Desile cut by 7 paise across the country.

In last nine days including today, petrol has become cheaper by 82 paise per litre. At the same time, diesel prices have fallen in eight out of last nine days.

Prices of the fuel were cut by 7-8 paise per litre on Thursday across the country. After today's revision, non-branded petrol was retailing at Rs 77.63 per litre in the national capital whereas in Mumbai it was sold at Rs 85.45. In other metros like Chennai and Kolkata, it was retailing at Rs 80.59 and Rs 80.28 per litre.

At the same time, non-branded diesel was retailing at Rs 68.73 per litre in Delhi and Rs 73.17 in Mumbai. In other metro cities like Chennai and Kolkata, it was retailing at Rs 72.56 and Rs 71.28 per litre.
