Cricketer apologies for cutting cake

Islamabad, June 05: Former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis has apologized fans for cutting a cake on Wasim Akram's birthday during the month of Ramzan.

According to the sources, The incident transpired during the second Test match between England and Pakistan in Headingley.

Younis took to Twitter and wrote, "Apologies to everyone for cutting cake on Waseem Bhai's birthday. yesterday...We should have respected Ramadan and the people who were fasting. It was a poor act on our behalf #SORRY."

Both Younis and Akram had received heavy flak from the fans for celebrating during the month of Ramzan.

As far as the match is concerned, England won their first Test match since September as they thrashed Pakistan by an innings and 55 runs in the second Test.
