Hyderabad, June 05: Tollywood Evergreen actress Divyavaani is popularly known as Baapu Bomma for Telugu audience.

According to the reports, Divya Vani debuted with Baapu's 'Pelli Pusthakam' followed by popular hits like 'Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam', 'Iddaru Pellala Muddula Police'.

We will be hearing and watching legendary song 'Sreerastuu..Subhamastuu' from 'Pelli Pustakam' at marriages and marriage videos even today.

Now She recently came back to Tollywood with a bang, she played a significant role in the Mahanati. She played Savitri mother role in the film.



Speaking on the occasion, The actress said that, one fine day Swapna Dutt called me to do the role of Savithri's Mother and invited to meet him.

She also said that, It is re-entry time, I never hesitate to play the small role in the big epic film, that too it was big banner and super actors involved in that, so I decided to act in the film, after so long time I acted with Rajendra Prasad, I consider that, after Keerthy Suresh and Rajendra Prasad characters in the film, my character stands in third, she recalled.
