Lady Advocate murder mystery revealed

Chittoor, June 03: As we know that, A lady advocate Ms. Nagajyothi was brutally murdered while she was returning home on a two-wheeler. The mystery behind murder has revealed.

The Madanapalle police on Saturday arrested K. Jitendra (50), a lawyer, in connection with the broad daylight murder of his wife and co-lawyer Nagajyothi (45) in Madanapalle on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference at Madanapalle, Deputy SP (Madanapalle) Chidananda Reddy and Circle Inspector Suresh Kumar said that after investigating the case from several angles, the police came to a conclusion that the deceased was a junior-most advocate and had no professional rivalry with any of her colleagues. She got separated from her husband Jitendra, a noted criminal lawyer, three years ago, reportedly following family disputes. The couple has a daughter, who is married, and a son.

"As part of investigation, we took Jitendra into custody today, and during questioning, there were many incongruities in his versions. Finally, he confessed to executing the murder of his former wife with the help of hired killers, who were his clients," the DSP said.

Mr. Suresh Kumar said that already sketch of a suspect was released. "We have identified the persons whom Jitendra had hired. Four special teams are searching for them," he said.

Superintendent of Police S.V. Rajasekhar Babu announced cash rewards to the investigation teams.
