I'm not interested in becoming Prime Minister

Vijayawada, June 02: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that he is not interested in becoming the Prime Minister of the country and only wants to serve the nation like a soldier.

"I know how to do, what to do and when to do. What I want is good governance. All leaders should strengthen their states. Be it Mamata Banerjee, K Chandrashekar Rao or somebody else. I will work as a soldier. I played crucial role in coalition governments. But I am not interested in becoming Prime Minister.", The CM said.

He added, "After independence, Congress monopoly continued for long time. Later coalition governments came into existence. For the first time, people gave absolute majority to Narendra Modi and hoped much from him. But they are left with hopelessness. The result of it was seen in bypolls.

Modi talks about sincerity but in Karnataka, Bharatiya Janata Party took all illegal means and tried to buy out MLAs. What is it? The defeat of the ruling party in bypolls is reflection to the people's verdict".
