Mahanati irked in another controversy

Hyderabad, June 02: Mahanati, a biopic on Legendary actress Savitri directed by Nag Ashwin has received the terrific response from the Telugu audience alike.

Entire cast crew got tremendous applause from the fans, apart from this, the film irked in controversy from its release date.

Now a fresh controversy has erupted for the epic movie.

According to the sources, Vijaya, granddaughter of K.V. Choudhary's brother, in a youtube video disputed with the filmmakers for showing Savitri's uncle Choudhary as a good person.

She said , "Choudhary is showman and he drinks a lot. When people are talking about Savitri’s drinking habits, I want to say that she was grown up in a household where the elders drink a lot.”

Making startling allegations against accuses Savitri's daughter Chamundeswari, she said "I feel sad that Chamundeswari cried at a few promotional events. I agree that Savitri garu is her mother. But what I don’t understand is when Savitri garu was alive, Chamundeswari went to court and fought against her mother to get her house.
