Chiranjeevi after his party Congress lost the elections, has been staying away from politics and started doing films.

After Khaidi No 150, he is busy with 'Sye Raa' Narasimha Reddy and is readying for his next with Koratala Shiva. He did not even campaign for the party in the recent Karnataka elections.

A source shares that, "Chiranjeevi may not participate in politics any further. He wants to focus on films. Another reason is that his younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, is playing an active role in politics and he doesn't want to get into a clash with him. So he has almost said goodbye to politics"
