Kapus gonna support him, this time!!

Amaravati, May 30: After the separation, it was extensively familiar that YS Jagan would come to power in Andhra Pradesh. However, in a dominant confusion, Chandrababu Naidu had won at the last minute with Pawan Kalyan.

The Kapu community altogether obeyed the words of Pawan Kalyan and voted for the TDP-BJP combo. In spite of that, it is perhaps one-sided to say that the Kapus voted for the TDP, only just because of Pawan Kalyan.

After the murder of Vangaveeti Ranga, they had been staying away from the TDP. Anyhow, they endorsed TDP in 2014 because the new state of Andhra Pradesh needed an experienced administrator at the leadership.

Everyone predicted Chandrababu to do a good job and apparently the Kapu community. Pawan Kalyan's support further strengthened their opinion. Yet, speaking frankly, Chandrababu's 4-year regime has been a huge regret.

A bulk of his pre-election promises continue to persist undeveloped and the major one of providing reservations to the Kapus has been clueless in constitutional nuisance along with strong opposition from other backward communities.

And finally, Pawan Kalyan himself has revolted against the TDP and says his party is now willing to contest all 175 seats in the coming elections.

Nonetheless, YS Jagan is further enhancing his vote base with his Padayatra that has been extremely victorious up to date.

Alongside this scenery, Kapus will vote for whom in 2019?

It seems doubtful that notwithstanding the presence of several Kapu Ministers in the TDP government, they will depart from the TDP. Then, there will be two parties namely - YSRCP and Jana Sena.

Because of caste integration, they are expected to vote for the Jana Sena but YS Jagan has earned some reliability in these four years.

Therefore, imagining that the Kapus vote for Jana Sena, even if a small-scale percentage of them vote for YS Jagan, it will be a gigantic loss to the TDP and an enormous advantage to YSRCP.

Even if the kapus do not vote for the YSRCP at all, the last-mentioned would still gain because Jana Sena will be abrading TDP's vote core.
