Is this the rate of petrol (or) anything else?

New Delhi, May 29: Putting common people to more burden, The Petrol prices were hiked once again across the country today marking the 16th such rise in the last 16 days.
It is inching towards the Rs 90 per liter, Petrol prices went up by around 15 paise; rates in metro cities now are Rs 78.43 (Delhi), Rs 81. 06 (Kolkata), Rs 86.24 (Mumbai) and Rs 81.43 (Chennai), according to the Indian Oil Corporation (prices at bunks of other fuel companies may vary by a few paise).
A government official ruled out any reduction in the petrol, diesel rates even as crude prices have softened.
Petrol price has been hiked by Rs 3.64 a liter and diesel by Rs 3.24 in Delhi since state-owned oil firms ended a 19-day pre-Karnataka poll hiatus to resume daily price revision on May 14.
