No appointment for KCR, why?

New Delhi, May 29: The Telangana Chief Minister met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and submitted proposals for the new zonal system in the state.

However, he did not get the appointment from Modi, In this regard, he was very upset. KCR sought an appointment with Modi some a couple of days ago to get the approval from several pending issues like the amendment to Presidential Order on a zonal system in Telangana, increased reservations to STs and Minorities and others. Originally, he was scheduled to be in New Delhi for four days.

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi leaving for a two-nation tour to Indonesia and Singapore on Tuesday, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who could not get an appointment to meet Modi returned to Hyderabad on Monday, cutting short his two-day Delhi visit.

The TRS sources suspect that the Prime Minister had deliberately humiliated KCR by denying appointment since he was not happy with the latter's efforts to float the third front and his support to Janata Dal (S) in the recent Karnataka elections.
