New Delhi, May 27: In a shocking Incident, Former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy on Sunday replaced senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh as the person in-charge of the party's affairs in Andhra Pradesh.
In an internal party reshuffle on Sunday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi named Gaurav Gogoi as the party’s general secretary in-charge of West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar, replacing senior leader CP Joshi.
Gogoi is son of fomer Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
Digvijay Singh was earlier divested of his charge in Telangana and Karnataka.
The party is on the verge of extinction. The Party has got Zero seats in the last elections. It is reduced to a 2-3% party in AP after ruling the state for several terms.
