Top directors Turns Chief Guests

Hyderabad, May 26: A Pre-release event is being held on Monday in anticipation of the release of Ram Gopal Varma's Officer. Apart from Nagarjuna members of the Akkineni family, several industry bigwigs are expected to put in an appearance.

Director Sukumar, who recently delivered the blockbuster hit Rangasthalam, has been invited as the chief guest for the event.

Sukumar has been in news recently for the blockbuster Rangasthalam. Nagarjuna will start promoting the film next week and he plays a ruthless cop in Officer.

"RGV personally called Sukumar and invited him for the event," a source reveals. Interestingly, RGV had invited S.S. Rajamouli as the chief guest for the pre-release event of his last film.

The movie has been slated for June 1st release and is bankrolled by RGV’s Company.
