CM KCR extends Rythu Bandhu Scheme deadline

Hyderabad, May 25: In a significant development, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has extended the deadline for the distribution of cheques and passbooks to the farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme up to June 20, 2018.

Mr Rao, who conducted a marathon day-long review meeting with district collectors, Ministers and to officials on various scheme mainly on Rythu Bandhu scheme at Pragathi Bhavan here on Wednesday night, expressed unhappiness over miskates that have appeared in some new pattadar passbooks and directed officials to rectify them.

He said the entire concerned administrative machinery should concentrate maximum on this scheme from May 24 and cent percent distribution of passbooks and cheques should be completed by June 20.

The CM also nominated senior officers to effectively supervise this one per each district. The CM also said that the online freezing for recording land details to be lifted and all sale and purchase details are also to be recorded as well as to go ahead with mutations.

The hereditary rights of the farmers should be established properly , the CM said the land purchaser has to be provided with new pass book and errors if any in the already distributed pass books need to be corrected.

Land ownership of every bit of land has to be established and with all the details as on June 20, 2018, the 'Dharani website' will be designed, said CM.

As far as the land and ownership is concerned there should be one and only record with all details, he added.
