Bengaluru, May 23: As we earlier reported that, H.D. Kumaraswamy of Janata Dal (Secular) was sworn-in as the 24th chief minister of Karnataka on Wednesday.
Uttar Pradesh politicians BSP chief Mayawati and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav greeted each other warmly, waved to the crowds and sat next to each other as they arrived on stage for the swearing-in ceremony of Janata Dal-Secular leader HD Kumaraswamy as Karnataka Chief Minister.
The rivals turned allies were seen together on a public stage for the first time since they buried their differences to collaborate in recent by-polls in Uttar Pradesh.
Mayawati hugged Sonia Gandhi, chatted with her holding her hands throughout the ceremony.
During oath ceremony of Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy, opposition parties came together. This scenario of BSP supremo and Congress' Sonia Gandhi Gandhi is unmissable.
