Police arrested for slapping Ravindra Jadeja's wife

New Delhi, May 23: Indian All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's wife Reeva Solanki was attacked by a police constable after she allegedly rammed her car into the cop's bike on Monday, after which the cop has been arrested.

According to reports, Reeva met with an accident, when her car hit the bike of the cop. The policeman allegedly got down from the bike and physically assaulted Jadeja's wife.

An eye witness told to media that it was a minor accident but policeman reacted aggressively and slapped the lady.

The police constable was identified as Sanjay Ahir, and was arrested after Reeva filed a complaint against him at a local police station.

"The policeman physically assaulted Riva after her car hit his motorbike. We are providing all possible help to her and will take strict action against the policeman," said Jamnagar district Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sejul.
