Hyderabad, May 23: Twenty-one-year-old son of former Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bandaru Dattatreya's son, Bandaru Vaishnav, died after suffering a massve heart attack.
According to the details, Bandaru Vaishnav was a third year medical student. He was reportedly having dinner with his family at their Ramnagar residence in Hyderabad, when he suddenly collapsed. Mr Dattatreya took him to Care Hospital, where the doctors said they would take care and he could go home.
Vaishnav complained of a chest pain soon after eating dinner with his family members at his Ramnagar residence on Tuesday night. He was rushed to Nanakram Care Hospitals at Musheerabad, where he died while undergoing treatment at around 12.30am.
Sources close to Dattatreya said Vaishnav was following strict diet restrictions to reduce his weight.
"Perhaps, this could be the reason for his sudden heart attack. Otherwise, he does not have any other health problems nor does he have any bad habits," they said.
