Congress leader comments Karnataka Governor as Dog

Bengaluru, May 18: In a shocking comment, Maharashtra Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has said that people will name dogs after Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala.

Shortly after Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa resigned, many Congress leaders raised to demand that Karnataka Governor Vala should quit.

Vala invited controversy by calling Yeddyurappa to form a government despite JD(S)-Congress alliance having a greater number of seats. He gave Yeddyurappa 15 days to prove his majority, which subsequently struck down Supreme Court.

In another controversial move, the governor invited KG Bopaiah as the pro-tem speaker breaking the age-old convention of appointing the most experienced MLA as the pro-tem. All these lead to Vajubhai Vala being targetted by the opposition.

However, Nirupam made a condemnable statement while criticising Karnataka Governor. He said in this country Vajubhai Vala has established a new record of being faithful.

Congress leader further said," Now, probably in India every Indian will name their dog Vajubhai Vala as no one can be more faithful than him".
