Siddaramaiah meets Governor, resigns as CM

Bangalore, May 15: Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday met the Governor of Karnataka, and tendered his resignation after his party apparently lost to BJP in the crucial Karnataka assembly elections.

In this regard, The Congress veteran met the state's Governor at the latter's residence and tendered his resignation.



We already knew that, Siddaramaiah, who had contested from two constituencies, won from the Badami Assembly seat in Bagalkot district but lost in Chamundeshwari in Mysuru.

Siddaramaiah requested the governor to give the JDS government their support in Karnataka. However, the decision on governor's decision is a matter of concern.
