Yeddyurappa to meet BJP leaders in Delhi

Bangalore, May 15: The BJP has become the largest party in the Karnataka elections, but it has been a tragic one for the formation of the general government due to the failure of the magic number. In this regard, The BJP Parliamentary Party is expected to meet in Delhi.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and BJP president has already reached Delhi. The high command suggested that Yeddyurappa, the party's senior candidate, should come to Delhi.

The BJP has become crucial as the Congress has already made a decision to support the JDS government.

Yeddyurappa, who won from Shikaripura Assembly segment in Shivamogga district, was the party's maiden Chief Minister in south India when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power for the first time in May 2008.

The 75-year-old strong lingayat leader is currently the lok Sabha member from Shivamogga constituency in the state's Malnad region, about 300km from Bengaluru.
