Mahanati Satellite rights sold at whopping Price

Hyderabad, May 14: Tollywood prestigious biopic of legendary actress 'Mahanati' has been creating ripples across South India.

The movie released last week and has been declared as a blockbuster all over. Nag Ashwin directed the movie while Keerthy Suresh essayed the role of the legendary actress.

The makers recently closed the satellite deal of the film. Zee Network acquired the satellite rights of Mahanati for all the languages for a record price of Rs 11 crores which is equal to half of the investment of the movie.

Mahanati has been doing exceptional business across overseas and multiplexes in Telugu states. The Tamil version of Mahanati too opened loud and is raking decent money. Mahanati is being dubbed into Malayalam currently and will release soon.

Samantha, Dulquer Salman and Vijay Devarakonda played other pivotal roles in Mahanati which has been produced by Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies jointly. Several celebrities across the country lauded Mahanati and the film even received rave reviews from the critics.
