IPL 2018: SRH Scores 179/4 Vs CSK

Pune, May 13: MS Dhoni-captained Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the Toss against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, in Pune on Sunday.

Chennai, who occupy the second spot in the points-table, are yet to qualify for the playoffs as the yellow brigade suffered a four-wicket loss against Rajasthan Royals in their previous clash on Friday.

Sun Risers Hyderabad(SRH) have never lost while defending a score this IPL, and they have never had more than 151 to defend. And still, this 179 doesn't seem secure.

Some timely strikes and some tight overs at the death have allowed CSK to keep the target within reach although 180 is still a good total on a pitch that provided a lot of assistant to the new ball bowlers early on.
