Daggubati Abhiram received threatening call

Hyderabad, May 10: Four persons were arrested for attempting to extort Rs 1.5 Cr from producer Suresh Babu's son Abhiram Daggubati by threatening to share intimate photographs and videos of him with media.

Recently, Actress Sri Reddy also leaked intimate photographs of her with Abhiram Daggubati, the brother of Baahubali star Rana Daggubati.

According to the latest update, two years ago when Abhiram Daggubati was in a restaurant in Jubilee hills, his iPhone had stolen in a restaurant and recently he received a mail demanding Rs 1.5 Cr.

The police said,after stealing Abhiram's phone, they unlocked the phone and accessed photos and videos in it.When Abhiram making headline recently and hisphotographs were flashed, they came to know that the could extort money. So they sent an Email to Abhiram Daggubati on 24th April demanding Rs 1.5 Cr. They also said that if he would not give the demanded money, they would release his personal photographs on social media from his mobile.

Immediately Suresh Babu approached Hyderabad police and lodged a complaint on 28th April. The cops came in action and nabbed the blackmailers. Neither Daggubati family nor Police have revealed that what photographs and videos were in Abhiram's mobile.

The accused four persons named Raghu Rama Varma, Nadempally Karthik, Tirumal Shetti Naga Venkata Sai and P Chandra Kishore, all natives of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

Abhiram never became an actor because his father Suresh Babu thought he is good in business. Abhiram has already worked on the production side for a few films.
