Actress Nanditha Swetha turns youngest Mother

Hyderabad, May 09: The Tollywood hit film Ekkadiki Pothaavu Chinnavada fame Nandita Swetha has reportedly signed a family drama which will go on floors soon.

Titled as Narmadha, the film is going to be directed by newcomer Geeta Rajput, and it is said to be a female-centric film which explores the relationship between a mother and her son.

Interestingly, Nandita will be seen playing the mother of a 7-year-old son, and the actress gave it a lot of thought before deciding to do the film.

"Nandita will play a young, bold and energetic mother of a seven-year-old. When I narrated the story to her, she told me that she hasn't done something like this before. She told me that she will see if she can fit into the role. After 12 days, Nandita said she's convinced that she can justify the character that I had written. This will be a challenging role and definitely not run-of-mill role or script," director Geetha said on a recent interview.

Nandita has already lost 8 kgs to play this role and she is all set to start shooting later this month. The film will be shot in Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagercoil, and Tirunelveli. Apart from this film, she will soon be seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam in which she is paired opposite Nithiin.
