IMD issues heatwave warning for two days

Hyderabad May 07: Citizens in Telangana and other states people will have to brace themselves for the heat, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a two-day warning heatwave warning for the state.

The IMD said that the maximum temperatures were likely to be between 40 degree Celsius and 42 degree Celsius in most parts of Telangana for the next two days.

hot weather will continue to prevail in the state. Mercury crossed the 40 degrees mark at many places in the state. Khargone was the hottest place in the state with a high of 45.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Rajgarh with 44.5 degrees Celsius and Shajapur with 44.4 degrees Celsius.
