TTD launches new system for devotees

Tirupati, May 06: In order to meet heavy rush in Tirumala, A new token system that has been introduced by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has brought about immense relief for pilgrims visiting the holy shrine during holidays.

In view of heavy rush in Tirumala owning to summer vacation, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has planned a new strategy, which plans to set up Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) counters.

Tokens with the timings mentioned are being issued to the devotees, who will arrive at the main temple only at that hour. They need not wait in queues for long hours and waste time.

Instead, they can visit nearby temples and pilgrim sites. The devotees said that they are happy as they are able to complete the darshan within a short time.
