My wedding with Rahul Gandhi is not true: Congress MLA

New Delhi, May 06: A fresh rumor has emerged that, Congress president Rahul Gandhi's marriage with Raebareli MLA Aditi Singh has been doing rounds on social media.

Announcing the marriage in May itself, many pictures of the Congress President with the MLA went viral. Reports said that the rumor was first circulated on some WhatsApp groups in Raebareli.

In this regard, Raebareli MLA Aditi Singh refuted the reports and called Rahul her 'Rakhi' brother. "Such rumours upset me. I would like to clarify that Rahul Ji is my rakhi brother and I am really saddened by such rumours on social media," Singh clarified.

Earlier on Saturday, social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp were flooded with fake pictures of Aditi Singh standing with people along with Rahul Gandhi’s mother and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
