Praising each other; This happens in Modi-Deve Gowda logic

Bangalore, May 03: JD(S) patriarch HD Deve Gowda has made some interesting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on today.

He said that if it were not for Modi, he would have quit the Lok Sabha.We knew that, earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised former HD Deve Gowda.

In this regard, he accepted the compliment and made these comments on Modi, Deve Gowda said that he is still continuing his term in the lower house of the parliament because of Modi's persuasion skills.

He further mentioned that he had vowed to resign in the case BJP wins the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, however Modi advised him against doing so asserting that the country needs "the experience and services of senior leaders".

Although the former prime minister appreciated Modi's gesture, he said it does not bury the hatchet between them. Deve Gowda said that he had met Modi on multiple occasions to discuss critical issues that the poll-bound state is facing, including the Mahadayi issue, but to no resolve; adding that "He listens, but does nothing".
