Man dies while watching Avengers: Infinity War

Kadapa, May 02: In a bizarre and tragic incident, a 43-year-old mason worker died while watching Avengers Infinity War (3D) at Cinehub Multiplex theatre in Proddatur town in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa district on Tuesday.

According to Proddatur police, Peddapasupula Baasha (43), who works at a construction site, decided to go and watch the movie along as part of the May Day celebrations at the theatre. After watching the movie, Baasha was found sitting in his seat without any movement.

Initially, the theatre staff thought that he was awaiting for the after credits scene, but Baasha was still not moving from his seat event after credits scene.

When they removed his 3D glasses, officials realized that he died with his eyes open. Soon, Proddatur rural police reached the spot and examined the scene. Cops suspect that it could be a case of natural death or cardiac arrest.

However, they sent his body to a local government hospital for post-mortem. A case under section 174 of CrPC (suspicious death) has been registered. The investigation is still on.
