14,400 vehicles passes every hour in that Junction

Hyderabad, Apr 30: According to the information from sources Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister KTR inaugurated Hyderabad's Mind Space underpass on Saturday, in a transpose that would dispense utmost comfort for many thousand techies who work in the area.

In the meantime the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation said that the underpass goes on to be the 2nd project under the signal free traffic passageway, as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

It is reported that it was built at an approximated cost of Rs 25.78 crore, the underpass is familiar to calm the heavy traffic in the area as certain lakh people travel through the road while reducing and from their workplace.

Additionally, KTR said that the Telangana government had composed all the designs for construction of expressways from Jubilee Bus Stand (JBS) to Thumkunta and from Patny to Suchitra junction.

KTR said "The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) was prepared to take up the works at a cost of Rs 2,500 crore. Besides apart from Mindspace Junction, three other multi-level/grade dividers are at Biodiversity Junction, Ayyappa Society and Rajiv Gandhi statue junction with all the components costing Rs 379 crore and the underpass at Chintalkunta Check post too has been completed and is ready for inauguration".
