Karnataka Polls: Siddaramaiah vs Yeddyurappa

Bengaluru, Apr 28: The Karnataka chief minister and Congress leader Sidharamaiah has made comments on BJP leader Yeddyurappa, by saying that importing north leaders like Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath to campaign for the Karnataka state assembly elections, the BJP has made Yeddyurappa a dummy.

The election-related activities are happening in full swing in Karnataka, where the state assembly elections are going to be held on May 12, with the poll counting scheduled on May 15. The elections are going to be held for a total of 224 constituencies, and all parties are showing their strength by actively campaigning.

While both the BJP and Congress parties have announced all their candidates, who have also filed their election nominations, the campaigning has been taking place with not just regional leaders, but national leaders also making a visit to Karnataka to the campaign. Especially, for BJP, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adithyanath, Amit Shah, and PM Modi had made a visit to Karnataka to the campaign.

Sarcastically taking a dig at this act of BJP, the Karnataka Chief Minister Sidharamaiah has tweeted that, by importing north Indian leaders to campaign in Karnataka, the BJP has yet again proved that they have not got any real leaders in Karnataka, and in this process, they have made Yeddyurappa a dummy. With this tweet, the heat has increased in Karnataka state politics and the election campaigns.
