Bangalore, April 25: Matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore Chennai Super Kings have always generating a big buzz, but this time around, the anticipation has reached a feverish pitch.
A packed M. Chinnaswamy Stadium awaits both teams, with fans clamouring for every seat in the house.
All tickets sold out ahead of the IPL stand-off between CSK and RCB, even the ones priced Rs 35k
Expect more yellow jerseys today when home team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) takes on Chennai Super Kings in the India Premier League (IPL) game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
More than 2,000 CSK supporters have come down to Bengaluru to support their side. Chennai supporters wearing yellow T- shirts thronged the stadium to get tickets for the match and most were disappointed as all the tickets for this important match have been sold out.
"The demand has been most unprecedented. CSK matches have always seen high demand here, but this time it’s greater because the team is returning after two years. The second reason is that CSK’s home matches have been moved to Pune,” Vinay Mruthyunjaya, KSCA spokesperson, said.
