PM Modi instructions to BJP MPs and MLAs

New Delhi, Apr 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took to his app to interact with BJP MLAs and MPs, telling them very clearly that "now was the time to work hard, to run and not walk".

He also asked them to not to speak "out of turn" when incidents happen in society, and that they should discipline themselves and not damage the party by creating controversies with bytes.

The PM strictly told the MLAs and MPS not to present their "own analysis" of incidents happening in the society to TV cameras, and then, complain about the criticism. "It is important to think if you are the person giving masala (spice) to the media. Media is only doing its job. Don't blame them when they highlight your bytes," he said.

PM Modi told the BJP lawmakers that they need to work at increasing the follower count on social media because "technology makes communication easy". "If you have 3 lakh followers, I promise you I will have a video interaction with you and the people in your constituency. I will definitely find time for it. I want to speak to as many party members and people as possible.

Even if it is midnight, I will speak to you," the PM told his party's MPs and MLAs. He has also asked them to conduct more gram sabhas, reach out to rural pockets in their constituencies and send him feedback regularly. All MPs and MLAs were asked to be online on the app for the PM's interaction.
