Rahul Gandhi to participate in TPCC Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra

Hyderabad, Apr 21: All-India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi will participate in the next phase of Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra of the party in Telangana and the schedule would be finalized in a couple of days.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who met Mr. Gandhi in New Delhi along with MLAs Sampath Kumar and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and others, briefed him on the court verdict on the suspended MLAs and the political ramifications of it.

Advocate Jandhyala Ravi Shankar who argued the case also explained to Mr. Gandhi the arguments and the content of the judgment.

Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy told The Hindu from New Delhi that Mr. Gandhi was happy with the success of the Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra and complimented the TPCC team for exposing the failures of the TRS government through the yatra. Mr. Gandhi also asked the TPCC team to work with similar coordination and face the next elections with similar spirit.

Mr. Reddy said he requested the AICC president to participate in the next phase of the yatra, to which the latter agreed.
