Hyderabad, Apr 21: The Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) will be conducted here on Saturday. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the POLYCET even if they are late by a minute.
Among a total of 1,25,063 candidates(Boys-76,298, Girls- 48,765) have registered for the test which is scheduled on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. The State Board of Technical Education and Training which is holding the entrance test has arranged 359 centers across the State.
The Board said candidates will be allowed one hour before the commencement of exam and advised them to reach their respective centers one and half hour before the test begins.
The POLYCET is conducted for admissions into all diploma courses in engineering/non-engineering/technology offered at polytechnics for the academic year 2018-19.
