Woman commits Suicide over Dowry Harrasments

Hyderabad, April 19: Nowadays, Dowry harassments has been occurring from the various place, in which some of the victims committing suicide, and ends thier life with cheaply.

Here a drastic incident happened that, According to the police, A 28-year-old woman allegedly hanged herself at her residence here on Thursday.

Police said the woman, G. Wincy Gnana Sarojini, was suspected to have resorted to the extreme step unable to bear torture from her husband and in-laws for dowry.

Wincy was married to B. John Victor in August 2017 and they were staying in Chennai along with Victor’s parents and siblings. Police said Victor was harassing Wincy for dowry and did not allow her to talk to her parents. She was restricted from using a mobile phone as well.

A case has been filed by the Police official, and they are investigating the case.
