Padman actress roped for a Hollywood film

Mumbai, Apr 16: Bollywood hot actress Radhika Apte, who is basking in the glory of her recently released movie Padman, is all set to star in an untitled female-driven film on World War II spy drama.

The film also stars Stana Katic and Sarah Megan Thomas in the lead roles along with Radhika Apte. Reports suggest that Kabali actress will be playing a spy Noor Inayat Khan, a pacifist of Indian descent who was the first female wireless operator.

Radhika Apte took to Twitter to confirm the news and captioned the post as "Next project". The upcoming drama will be directed and produced by Queen of Katwe and The Darjeeling Limited director Lydia Dean Pilcher. The screenplay is written by Thomas who is also the co-producer of the film.

The film is based on 'real' spies who were a part of Winston Churchill's 'secret army.'

On the other side, Radhika will also be seen in Netflix's Sacred Games costarring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
