CM KCR meets Deve Gowda over Third Front

Bengaluru, Apr 13: Telangana CM Chandrashekhar Rao meets H D Deve Gowda over the formation of the Third Front on Friday

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao met former Prime Minister and Janata Dal-Secular (JDS) chief H D Devegowda on Friday at his Bengaluru residence where they held discussions on the possibility of a third front in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

KCR reached Deve Gowda's residence at around 12.30 PM with veteran actor Prakash Raj, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of Parliament (MPs) Vinod and Sathosh also seen accompanying them.

Speaking to the media, KCR recalled as to how he had sought support from Deve Gowda during the Telangana movement which the latter agreed which boosted the morale of the ones fighting for Telangana.

Thanking him for the same, he said, "Now, we are proposing for a movement for the country as there needs to be a qualitative change in the country. These two systems called Congress and BJP have ruled for more than 65 years and have miserably failed in delivering for the country."
