Hyderabad, Apr 13: Tollywood actress Srireddy has created a sensation by staging semi Nude protest in front of Movie Artists Association(MAA). Not only the entire Tollywood but Sri Reddy has become a hot topic in the entire nation.

On Thursday evening, Movie Artists Association took a stunning decision to lift the recently-imposed ban on Sri Reddy. Ram Gopal Varma lost no time to celebrate the small-time actress.

"Casting couch has existed ever since the advent of cinema a century ago. By not getting into individual allegations, Sri Reddy has drawn more attention to the evils of casting couch than anyone could in the last 100 years and I salute her for that," he said.

"Those who thought Sri Reddy was wrong in stripping can't deny that it's only that shock which woke up both national and international communities. Sri Reddy's mother should be proud of what her daughter has achieved for the film industry in general and aspiring actresses in particular," Ram noted on Twitter.

Going beyond, Varma said, "To historically compare the victory of hers, Jhansi Lakshmi Rani used her sword as a weapon to fight for her kingdom and Sri Lakshmi Bai used her own body as a weapon to fight the maledom in the film industry.", he added.
