National Film Awards 2018 : Baahubali Bags awards

Hyderabad, April 13: The announcement of the 65th National Film Awards was held at PIB Conference Room, Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi.
This year many South Indian films, like Baahubali: The Conclusion, to Malayalam film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, dominated the list.
Baahubali bagged three awards in various categories.
The film won in three categories, namely, Best Action Choreography, Best Special Effects and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
As Baahubali: The Conclusion is gearing up for a grand release in China, it recently achieved an outstanding feat in Japan. The film, which released on December 29, 2017, recently completed its 100-day theatrical run in the country.
Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Tamannaah in significant roles.
