Kathua case: Political leaders are criticised for silence

New Delhi, April 12: About the brutal rape and murder of an eight-year-old in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua, Union minister VK Singh today tweeted demanding "justice For Ashifa", and added, "we have failed her as humans".

"With what happened to the eight-year-old girl in Kathua, it seems being a human is an insult, and animals are better," the former Army chief of staff said on Twitter.

He added that, “The criminals should be punished so severely that we can make an example of them for generations.”

In this regard, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other political leaders and ministers are fired on Narendra Modi led-team on the heinous rape and murder case.

Rahul Gandhi Took his twitter , " How can anyone protect the culprits of such evil?

What happened to Asifa at #Kathua is a crime against humanity. It cannot go unpunished.

What have we become if we allow politics to interfere with such unimaginable brutality perpetrated on an innocent child?"
