Kapu leader demands AP CM to take Hunger strike for SCS

Guntur, Apr 12: The Andhra Pradesh former Minister and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham came down heavily against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the issue of Kapu reservation on Thursday.

Addressing the media on Thursday, he blamed Chandrababu for diluting the two-and-a-half-year fight of Kapus by adopting double standards on the issue of implementation of assurances.

Criticising the Chief Minister for conveniently forgetting his promise of giving effect to SC status to Kapus while speaking at State Kapu JAC Activity Conference held in Kakinada, Mudragada went on to claim that Chandrababu cheated the Kapu community.

Regarding the TDP movement against the Centre on special category status demand, the Kapu leader demanded Chandrababu to stage a Dharna at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in New Delhi for the cause.
