CSK won by 1 wicket in thriller

Mumbai, Apr 08: What a start of Indian Premier Leauge 2018. Chennai Super Kings has won the match by 1 wicket in a thriller encounter here on Saturday at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.

Earlier, Chennai super kings have won the toss and decided to bowl first, and they restricted the Mumbai Indians with a comprehensive score 165/4.

In response, Mumbai bowled superbly till the peak overs, but eventually match was turned to CSK as the west indies player Dwane Bravo elegant innings helps the Chennai a thriller win.

Towards the end Bravo, smashed the Mumbai bowlers all around the park and also narrowed the gap of runs but lack of support from other end costed hugely but at the end Jadhav made it easy as he took his team to the finish line.

For Mumbai, Markander scalped three wickets while Pandya took two.

Suryakumar Yadav (43 off 29 deliveries), Krunal Pandya (41 not out off 22), Ishan Kishan (40 off 29) and Hardik Pandya (22 not out off 20) were the main contributors for three-time champions Mumbai.
