Around 9 people killed after Tractor overturns

Nalgonda, Apr 06: Here is a tragic incident has occurred while nine people, all women, were killed when a tractor overturned and fell into the AMRP (Alimineti Madhava Reddy Project) canal near Waddipatla village in the mandal, about 50 kms from the Nalgonda district headquarters.
The Sources said the tractor trolley was carrying nearly 30 agricultural workers at the time of the accident.
They all reportedly belonged to Padamati thanda in the same mandal, and were going to Pulicherla village in the neighboring Peddavoora mandal for daily work.
The police and the locals have so far fished out nine bodies, and rescue efforts are on.
The victims till now were identified as Ramavath Sona, 70, Ramavath Jeja, 65, Jarukula Dwali, 30, Ramavath Keli, 50, Ramavath Kamsali, 50, Banavath Beri, 55, Ramavath Bharathi, 35, and Ramavath Sunitha, 30.
