AP CM enters into Parliament, He did same as PM Modi

New Delhi, Apr 04: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met several leaders including Floor Leaders of various political parties in the Central Hall of Parliament on Tuesday.

Mr Naidu met Farooq Abdullah, Supriya Sule, Jyothiradya Scindia, Jitender Reddy, Veerappa Moily, Rajiv Satav, Sougath Rai, Sharad Pawar, Harsimrat Kaur Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal in the Central hall.

The Chief Minister wanted to meet leaders of various parties excluding the BJP and Congress. However, he met some Congress and BJP leaders for curtsy, when he saw them in the Parliament.

Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu touched the stairs of Parliament and did 'namaskar' with folded hands before entering the Parliament. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did the same while entering Parliament for the first time. Significantly, this was a maiden visit of Parliament to Chandrababu Naidu. Another significance to his Delhi visit is that after exiting the NDA, first time he is visiting Delhi and meeting leaders.

His Delhi visit aimed to exert pressure on the Centre to get Re-organisation Act provisions honored.
