Samantha takes Zero Remunaration

Hyderabad, Mar 28: As we knew that, The Tollywood gorgeous actress Samantha Akkineni, the wife of Naga Chaitanya and daughter-in-law of King Nagarjuna was appointed as brand ambassador for handloom products of Telangana government.

We have already reported that Samantha met KT Rama Rao at Metro Rail Bhavan and expressed her interests on handloom products and enquired about the initiative taken by the government. So KT Rama asked Samantha to be the brand ambassador for handlooms and she agreed.

According to the latest update, Samantha has not been paid any remuneration for being appointed her as the brand ambassador for Telangana handlooms. The actress volunteered to promote Telangana handlooms after coming to know the plights of poor weavers in Telangana state.

On the other side, KTR also confirmed that Government did not pay remuneration to Samantha who came forward on her own and extended her cooperation.

On the work side, Samantha will be next seen in Ram Charan starrer Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 30th March.

Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagapathi Babu, Aadhi Pinisetty and others in supporting roles whereas Pooja Hegde is shaking leg in item song.
