Mumbai, Mar 23: Australia women's cricket team continued their winning streak against India by beating Harmanpreet Kaur led team by six wickets in the first match of the Women's T20 Triangular Series 2017-18 at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.
Chasing a modest 153, the tourists rode on opener Beth Mooney's 32-ball 45 and valuable contributions from Elyse Villani (39) and skipper Meg Lanning (35 not out) to romp home with 11 balls to spare.
Batting first, India scored a decent 152 for 5, riding on Smriti Mandhana's 41-ball-67 but the Southern Stars cruised to the target in 18.1 overs with opener Beth Mooney contributing 45 off 32 balls.
